Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a part-time, day shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Medical Surgical 2nd Floor in Albuquerque, NM. You will provide direct nursing care under supervision, following current standards and hospital policy to ensure patient safety.

Requirements include graduation from a practical nursing program, a valid NM or compact license within 90 days of hire, and BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a practical nursing program.
• Valid NM nursing License or valid multi-state compact license (within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The LPN under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy.
• Performs general nursing tasks.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
