Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an LPN to provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting. The role reports to a Registered Nurse or Manager and operates within the LPN scope of practice.

The LPN will coordinate and deliver high-quality care, participate in staff meetings and continued education, and may serve as a preceptor for new LPN staff. A High School Diploma and nursing certification are required.

Qualifications

• LPN license required to practice.
• BLS certification required (or instructor).
• Minimum 1 year medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for medical/surgical patients.
• Coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care under RN supervision.
• Participate in call rotation and weekend visits as needed.
