Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The role entails performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites. Flexibility is required to adapt to client specifications and scope of work.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom upkeep, waste removal, window cleaning, carpet maintenance, and restocking supplies. Training will be provided; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 6+ months janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and operate compactors for applicable materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Restock paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required by the client.
