Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the day shift (6:45am–7:00pm) on a 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend. You will install, repair, and maintain production equipment and plant facilities, performing preventative maintenance and quick repairs to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance and several years of experience.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills; ability to interact with managers, employees, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Monitors and adjusts manufacturing processes to ensure product integrity.
• Maintains plant performance to budgeted goals.
• Performs installation, maintenance and repair of production machinery and plant equipment.
• Diagnoses problems, replaces parts, tests and tunes equipment.
• Provides emergency and scheduled maintenance during operation and machine service.
• Performs preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Uses hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment.
• Reads manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
