Job summary

Wasserstrom is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the dayshift to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, tools, and facilities. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and help ensure equipment reliability and safe operation.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience, high school education or GED, and comfort with CMMS, PLC concepts, and standard hand tools. On-site role with physical demands typical of a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
• Intermediate computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Mechanically inclined; proficient with digital multimeters, precision alignment tools, calipers, indicators, and standard hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and routine service on manufacturing equipment, machinery, tools, and facility systems; document all work orders in CMMS.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and complete timely repairs to minimize equipment downtime; document completed work and communicate repair concerns to management.
• Support equipment installation, setup, movement, and outside repair coordination; maintain clean and safe work areas and follow safety procedures.
