Job summary

AirBoss Rubber Compounding in Scotland Neck, North Carolina, is seeking an Industrial Electrician to maintain plant electrical equipment for facilities and production.

Responsibilities include daily equipment inspections, lockout procedures, lighting and distribution maintenance, testing and repairing systems, updating electrical schematics, responding to work orders, and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Valid Industrial Electrician Certificate of Qualification or 309D.
• 3–5 years of electrician experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and high voltage systems.
• Familiar with schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, and power distribution.
• Team player with good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection of plant electrical equipment and walkthroughs.
• Lockout/tagout to satisfy safety requirements.
• Maintain building lighting and distribution systems.
• Test and repair plant electrical equipment as required.
• Update wiring changes and electrical schematics as needed.
• Respond to work orders and service calls to minimize downtime.
• Log parts, report issues, and uphold health and safety policies.
