Wesley Willows in Rockford, IL is hiring a full-time Housekeeping Associate for the Peterson Meadows community. Responsibilities include cleaning assigned apartments, supporting housekeeping staff, and maintaining general facility cleanliness while respecting resident belongings.

The position offers a day shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays. The wage starts at $15.00 to $15.50 per hour, with credit for experience, and a benefits package is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (required).
• Previous experience preferred, but not required.
• Good interpersonal relations with verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read special instructions and understand labels on cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned apartments, suites, or homes and support housekeeping staff in maintaining general facility cleanliness.
• Follow work schedules and clean resident rooms without disturbing personal items.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, empty trash, and safely use cleaning chemicals.
• Communicate effectively with residents and proactively solve problems.
• Assist the laundry department and perform other tasks as assigned by housekeeping leadership.
