Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Hospital Warehouse Specialist for our Fort Wayne, IN hospital network. This on-site, permanent role supports medical supplies, equipment, and inventory management in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years in hospital logistics, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with inventory software. Shift is 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for process improvement and budget involvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hospital/healthcare setting and understanding of hospital operations.
• Experience with warehouse management and logistics in a healthcare environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, distribution, and logistics.
• Ensure medical supplies and equipment are stored properly and accessible.
• Maintain inventory control systems to ensure adequate supplies.
• Conduct regular physical counts and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to meet supply needs.
• Coordinate disposal of surplus equipment per policy.
• Adhere to safety regulations to maintain a safe warehouse.
• Train and supervise warehouse staff for efficiency.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist in warehouse budget preparation and management.
