Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking an Environmental Services Technician I in Manchester, NH to clean and disinfect patient areas, remove waste, and maintain general presentation across occupied and unoccupied spaces. You will support multiple departments and operate cleaning equipment in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Primary duties include waste removal, bed/bedding tasks, linen handling, and inventory of disposable supplies.

Qualifications

• Communicates in English read/write/speak.
• Follows department cleaning techniques and procedures as written.
• Able to perform repetitive or routine duties from detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Remove nonhazardous waste and recyclables from point of generation and transport to designated locations daily.
• Damp wipe, dust, mop, and vacuum various surfaces daily.
• Operate ultraviolet light equipment to disinfect touched surfaces, furniture, equipment, and building permanent surfaces daily.
• Make beds, cribs, and stretchers.
• Remove linens from point of generation and transport to designated locations daily.
• Handle cleaning and transport of IV pumps and related equipment from patient rooms to designated locations.
• Fill dispensers (soap, sanitizer, lotion, masks, towels, toilet tissue) daily.
• Move and reposition furniture to access cleaning and improve presentation.
• Use computer to enter time/attendance, bed tracking, disinfection equipment, and education information daily.
• Document cleaning completed in department forms daily.
• Operate department communication devices daily.
• Report damaged areas, defective equipment, or unsafe conditions.
