Job summary

Aerotek in Schriever, LA seeks a Material Handler - Forklift & Warehouse to support production with safe forklift operation, accurate picking, packing, and inventory control. This permanent daytime role offers steady hours: 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment preferred.
• Familiarity with RF scanning and basic inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment with correct type and quantity.
• Sort and place materials on racks or bins according to product code or type.
• Load, unload, move, and stage products using forklift or powered equipment.
• Assist with inventory control and accurate counting of stock.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and shipments in warehouse systems.
