Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in North Brunswick Township, NJ is hiring a forklift operator on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM). The role supports supply chain activities by loading, shipping and receiving warehouse products, with a pay rate of $20 per hour.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift safely, using RF scanners for inventory accuracy, processing materials for on-time customer delivery, and performing cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Forklift operating experience of at least 2 years.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to stand/walk for long durations.
• Vision abilities: close, distance, color, depth.
• Able to climb and kneel.
• Frequent exposure to dust and debris.
• Frequent exposure to loud noises.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in a safe manner.
• Use RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Scan and process materials accurately and timely to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Pick, wrap, and stage orders to be shipped and load material on outbound trucks/trailers.
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace.
