Job summary

Warehouse Specialists, Inc. is hiring a 1st shift Forklift Operator to provide safe material handling support. Hours are 7:00am–3:30pm on a full-time schedule, with possible weekends/holidays/overtime. The role reports to the Facility Manager and requires reliability, accuracy, and teamwork.

The position emphasizes safe lift-truck operation, inventory accuracy, and adherence to procedures, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills for accurate counts and paperwork.
• Ability to operate Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners to manage inventory.
• Willingness to learn about products handled at WSI.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Safely inspect, unload, and put away product from inbound trailers, containers, and railcars via lift truck.
• Operate a stand up and order picker lift truck to pick orders, replenish inventory, and load orders onto trailers, containers, and railcars.
• Utilize all material handling technology to maximize efficiency and maintain accurate inventory.
• Ensure all safety and operating procedures are followed.
