Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Bartlett, TN is seeking a Forklift Operator I to safely operate basic powered material handling equipment, including Sit-Down/Stand Up Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack, for product receipt, storage and order fulfillment.

This role focuses on product safety, quality, and compliance, with duties such as loading and unloading pallets, transporting and stacking materials, performing cycle counts, daily equipment inspections, and maintaining accurate storage locations while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate powered basic material handling equipment (electric pallet jack, stand-up/sit-down forklift).
• Meet PPE requirements and maintain safety standards.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-service oriented.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload pallets and cases from trucks or conveyors.
• Safely operate forklifts to transport and stack materials.
• Sort and build products onto pallets per customer requirements.
• Apply shrink wrap to pallets as needed.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate storage locations and conduct cycle counts.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules and company policies.
• Perform other distribution tasks as needed.
