Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Ballinger, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our Fortify Building Solutions distribution. You will operate a forklift and overhead crane to load, move and stage materials for customer orders on the 1st shift.

Requirements include at least a high school diploma or GED, being 18 or older, and the ability to obtain forklift and overhead crane certification. Prior warehouse experience is preferred; safety and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift and overhead crane.
• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform float loading to optimize loads for delivery coordination.
• Handle materials and operate machinery safely to fulfill orders.
• Ensure machines and equipment operate properly.
• Complete orders accurately and on time.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory updates in the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Follow safety requirements and use PPE.
• Perform routine maintenance and lubrication on equipment.
