Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Morris, IL to support shipping and receiving in the warehouse. You will follow loading diagrams, load orders, and collaborate with the shipping team to ensure accurate trailer loading.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Shift is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a pay rate of $21.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of finished goods and raw materials.
• Good math skills with accuracy.
• Certification in forklift operations.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow loading diagrams and instructions to identify products, roll amounts, and loading order for truck loading.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow shippers to ensure efficient trailer loading processes.
• Resolve count discrepancies in coordination with the Shipping Lead.
• Perform unloading and proper storage of raw materials and supplies in designated areas.
• Operate forklifts safely, completing daily checklists and reporting any performance issues.
