Job summary

XPO is a leading global transportation provider seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team in Uniontown, OH. The role focuses on safe, efficient handling of palletized freight and operation of forklift and pallet jack with scanners to track shipments.

Qualified applicants should be at least 18, able to do basic math, and willing to work diverse shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Training and benefits apply for eligible roles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Preferred dock or warehouse experience in transportation.
• Forklift experience in freight or LTL environment.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Strong attention to detail and desire to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
