Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Fork Lift Operator for the Day Shift in Houston, TX. The role reports to the Supervisor and operates 7:00am-3:00pm on weekdays with potential overtime as workload requires.

The position focuses on supporting production lines with material handling and related paperwork. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and forklift experience; lean manufacturing knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience operating a forklift or similar equipment.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience with paperwork and scanning.
• Knowledge of lean production processes.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading product/material for production lines.
• Supply raw material to production lines and assist in maintaining production.
• Process paperwork for shipping and warehousing activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
