Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL's DHL Supply Chain unit is hiring a Forklift Operator for 1st shift in Las Vegas. The role focuses on moving stock in our warehouse using stand-up or reach trucks, loading and unloading shipments, and supporting production during peak times.

Overtime may be required; pay is $21.75 per hour. We look for candidates with a forklift operator certificate or completion within 30 days, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least six months of warehouse and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment ~80% of shift
• Pull and prepare products for shipment ensuring correct quantity and type
• Maintain inventory records for accuracy
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load count, stability, and damage; report variances
• Perform daily equipment inspections and battery/LP tank changes
• Assist in physical inventories and keep area neat and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned
