Job summary

Penguin Random House in Westminster, Maryland is seeking a 1st Shift Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced distribution team. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm, with compensation up to USD 20.00 hourly and a benefits package that starts on day one.

You will safely operate forklift equipment and other powered industrial tools, lift up to 35lbs regularly (50lbs occasionally), and contribute to accurate picking, packing and shipping of approximately 1.2 million books daily.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Must safely operate powered industrial equipment (power jacks and pallet stackers).
• Minimum age 18; prior experience preferred.
• Must operate a variety of forklift equipment.
