Penguin Random House LLC in Westminster, MD is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm) at USD 20 per hour. The role involves loading, unloading, and moving books within our distribution center to support 1.2 million daily shipments.

Qualified applicants lift up to 35 lb regularly (50 lb occasionally), operate power jacks and pallet stackers, and meet the minimum age of 18. Prior forklift experience is preferred and background screening is required.

Our state-of- the-art national fulfillment center located in Westminster, Maryland is seeking quality workers ready and available to work an agreed upon work schedule. It is only with a dedicated staff we are able to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations by picking, packing and shipping approximately 1.2 million books daily to customers around the world.

Qualifications

The Westminster, Maryland Distribution Center is currently seeking applicants for:

• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis, occasionally up to 50lbs
• Must be able to safely operate powered industrial equipment (power jacks and pallet stackers)
• Minimum age is 18
• Prior experience is preferred
• Must be able to operate a variety of forklift equipment

We are actively recruiting to fill positions on the following shifts:

• 1st Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
