Job summary

Sun Chemical in Valparaiso, IN is seeking a Finished Product Packer for 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). Under the direct supervision of the Supply Chain & Warehouse Operations Lead, you will package the final product and keep a clean, organized workspace while following safety guidelines.

You will operate forklift and packing, milling, and grinding equipment, pack 25kg bags, and manage materials between warehouses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or pass a pre-employment screening assessment.

Responsibilities

• Pack 25kg (55lbs.) bags, boxes and drums.
• Operate forklift.
• Operate packing, milling, and grinding equipment.
• Complete pack-out sheets; prepare samples for pre-ship.
• Manage material to and from warehouses.
• Know the difference in products and how to label packaging.
