Job summary

Creative Dining Services at Auto Owners South in Lansing is seeking a Utility Worker for a full-time daytime schedule, with no nights or weekends. The role supports the smooth operation of our business services environment and helps maintain a safe, welcoming workplace.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning and maintenance, assisting with setup/breakdown of rooms, and managing inventory and supplies to ensure departmental readiness and overall facility readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces as needed.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies such as paper products, cleaning materials, and office essentials.
