Job summary

Medxcel is seeking a full-time Facilities Painter at St. Vincent's Hospital in Kokomo, IN. You will apply protective and decorative coatings to interior and exterior surfaces, prepare and finish surfaces, and maintain paint systems while safely operating painting equipment and scaffolding.

Ideal candidates have a trade-school background with 3+ years of painting experience and familiarity with DOT/ADA requirements. Day shift, on-site role with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of trade school with relevant painting experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant painting experience preferred.
• Experience with interior/exterior coatings and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply protective and decorative coatings to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, or smoothing.
• Maintain paint surfaces and match/tint colors per project requirements.
• Safely operate and maintain painting equipment (compressors, spray equipment).
• Erect scaffolding and signage layouts, ensuring DOT/ADA compliance.
