Job summary

Anchor Paper Company, an employee-owned business and leading Midwest distributor, seeks a full-time Maintenance employee at its headquarters in Minnesota. The role ensures facilities and equipment remain safe, reliable, and fully operational, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m.

to 3:00 p.m. The successful candidate will perform routine facility maintenance, inspect systems, repair plumbing and electrical components, and coordinate with outside contractors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance work.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility maintenance to keep equipment operating efficiently.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues or malfunctions.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Schedule and oversee inspections and maintenance services performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain repair equipment and supply inventory.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance and repair requests.
• Document maintenance and repair work completed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Collaborate with other facility staff to coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
• Update maintenance records and prepare activity reports.
• Recommend improvements to enhance facility operations.
• Set up and take down equipment for events or functions.
• Assist with maintenance budget development and monitor related spending.
