Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services seeks a dedicated Janitor to perform general upkeep and interior cleaning across facilities, including offices and restrooms. Shift is Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm.

You will contribute to a clean, safe environment and support contract requirements with reliable daily maintenance. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and basic math skills; experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide by 10s and 100s.
• Ability to perform these operations using common money, weight, volume, and distance units.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash and replace liners.
• Vacuum, mop, strip, wax and sweep floor areas.
• Dust, spot walls, clean glass, polish and sanitize areas.
• Wash, clean, wipe, sponge, rinse, scour and disinfect assigned areas.
• Note and report repairs or hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Report damage to customer property and suspicious or unsafe conditions.
• Perform additional duties as defined by supervisor.
