Job summary

IMKO in Sedalia, MO is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Assembler to support fabrication, assembly, and production operations in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints.

You will read blueprints, operate saws, drills, routers, and other fabrication equipment, and perform setups and inspections to ensure quality. This is a Monday–Friday day shift with temp-to-hire potential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of prior manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to accurately measure and assemble components to specifications.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable work history and ability to maintain consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble components according to work orders and specifications.
• Operate saws, drills, routers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, system layouts, and production work orders.
• Operate semi-automatic and automatic production equipment as needed.
• Perform equipment setups, adjustments, and basic preventative maintenance.
• Inspect completed components and assemblies to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Pick, pack, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials.
• Maintain accurate production and material records.
• Report material shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
• Assist with inventory control and material management as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet daily and weekly production goals.
• Assist with equipment startup and basic troubleshooting as needed.
