Job summary

Qualifications

• : At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Aerospace.
• Must have in-depth knowledge and electrical skills.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, electrical, machining, hydraulics, building maintenance schematics.
• Previous maintenance experience with industrial production systems, plumbing, control systems, welding, fabrication, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to operate a Drill Press, Power/Hand Tools, Measuring Equipment and Test Equipment such as a voltmeter.
• Basic computer skills and PLC knowledge.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Interact and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels of personnel.
• Schedule and organize time and tasks effectively
• Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment
• Electrician/Journeyman License

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental standards and procedures.
• Repair and maintain facility machinery and equipment via preventative maintenance and problem solving.
• Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors for repairs as needed.
• Diagnose issues in hydraulic and electrical systems and repair to specs.
• Inspect equipment to determine root cause and dismantle/adjust as needed.
• Suggest process improvements to increase machine efficiency and uptime.
• Prioritize daily activities to keep facility running.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facility and equipment.
• Be willing to work extra hours to complete repairs and service equipment.
• Participate in on-call rotation with other maintenance mechanics.
• Clean up tools and materials after each job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
