Job summary

The Legacy at North Augusta is seeking a part-time Utility Aide (Dishwasher) to keep the kitchen running smoothly in Staunton, VA. You will wash dishes, maintain cleanliness, assist with basic prep, and support our kitchen team while delivering reliable service to residents and staff.

No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. High school diploma preferred. Pay range is $15.00–$17.50 per hour, with final offer based on skills and background.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
• Assist with the removal of trash and recyclables, ensuring proper disposal.
• Restock clean items to designated areas for use by kitchen and dining staff.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Support kitchen staff by helping with basic food prep or other tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
