Job summary

Orgill, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Warehouse Order Picker to support the distribution center by efficiently picking merchandise located in all order filling zones and labeling each carton for easy identification and scanning.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM. Pay: $18.00 and up. The role requires accurate picking, labeling, and maintaining safety and productivity standards while coordinating with the Shipping Department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Commitment to safety policies and practices.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed.
• Good comprehension, organizational, and math skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management.
• Ability to maintain records accurately and demonstrate problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines.
• Must be a team player with a can do attitude.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to accurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations.
• Must be able to accurately identify units of measure.
• Must be able to identify correct merchandise and account for damaged merchandise.
• Must be able to accurately prepare orders and transport to the Shipping Department.
• Must be able to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Ability to take direction from Supervisor.
• Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must
• Adheres to DC housekeeping guidelines
• Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.*
