Staffmark Group in Spring Grove, IL is hiring a Custodian for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM - 3 PM).

The role focuses on cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, sanitizing washrooms, and supporting a safe, welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Prior custodial experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour with competitive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, window cleaning, and trash removal.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock washrooms with paper products and supplies.
• Clean company vehicles as assigned.
• Remove cardboard, waste, and debris to keep the facility organized and safe.
• Maintain outdoor areas by shoveling snow, salting entrances, and picking up litter.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the Manufacturing Services Supervisor.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and work rules.
• Assist with additional facility maintenance and housekeeping duties as needed.
