Job summary

Tessera is seeking a hard working and motivated Custodian to support our Spokane location. This full-time position is based at the Federal Building and U.S. Post Office, with a Monday–Friday day shift (6:30am - 3:00pm).

You will perform cleaning duties, restock supplies, and maintain sanitary facilities in accordance with contract standards. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with 0–3 years of janitorial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 0 - 3 years of previous custodian or janitorial experience preferred.
• Combination of experience and education will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Follow industrial safety guidelines and promote a safe workplace culture at all worksites.
• Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies according to contract standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust offices, halls and high-traffic areas per schedule.
• Trash collection and recyclables removal in accordance with contract requirements.
• Restock supplies daily and maintain clean locker areas as part of routine.
