Michael Foods, Inc. is hiring for a sanitation role at our Gaylord, MN location. The position focuses on cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining lunchrooms, restrooms, lockers and surrounding areas to ensure a clean and safe workplace.

You will operate sanitation equipment, follow GMP/HACCP guidelines, and support ongoing safety and quality programs while working a day shift 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's using money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form and to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.
• No prior experience or training required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize and perform general upkeep of the lunchrooms, bathrooms, locker rooms, office, and surrounding areas.
• Maintain trash removal and sanitation equipment operation (e.g., floor scrubbers).
• Adhere to GMP and HACCP guidelines and maintain sanitary conditions to support SQF Level 3 compliance.
• Report any conditions affecting food safety or quality to management.
