Responsibilities

• Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.
• Maintains facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings.
• Disposes of trash, waste, and other disposable materials.
• Handles cleaning solvents and chemicals; comply with OSHA, EPA, State Health Department regulations.
• Dusts furniture, light fixtures, window sills, etc.
• Wet mops floors in patient and staff areas daily; damp mop all corridors, lobby, and others daily.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, and commodes daily.
• Reports any needed repairs immediately to manager.
• Washes windows as scheduled.
• Strips and recoats all floor areas when necessary and as scheduled.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.
