SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian in Loves Park, IL. The role focuses on cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas, with responsibilities including janitorial tasks, hazardous waste handling, and operating cleaning equipment.

The position runs Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, offering $15.00-$16.00 per hour. No heavy education is required; 3–6 months experience or training is preferred and forklift certification may be needed.

Qualifications

• No degree required; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require valid driver’s license and safety training certification.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication is needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties plus daily schedule tasks.
• Handle Hazardous Waste: collect, classify, sort, store, ship, receive, label, recycle.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures; supervise none.
• Work in a team and take direction from supervisors.
• Follow all protocols and company rules; maintain a professional appearance.
