Job summary

Phoenix in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness of offices, restrooms, and exterior areas in accordance with contract requirements.

The successful candidate will follow safe cleaning procedures, wear PPE, and pass a background check. A high school diploma and at least 6 months of experience are preferred; a valid driver’s license is required and security clearance may be needed for some assignments.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least six months of experience in a similar position is desired.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive under agency insurance requirements.
• Must be able to complete a background check satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and keeps work sites, restrooms, and exterior areas of offices, shops, and other occupied areas in orderly condition in accordance with contract requirements.
• Performs work in accordance with safe and up-to-date cleaning procedures and methods.
• Complies with all safety requirements related to the job assignment.
• Wears and uses applicable personal protective equipment, as required.
