Job summary

Lee County Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide for the day shift. This full-time role offers starting pay of $13.65 per hour with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. You will clean patient rooms, common areas, and dining spaces while following infection control and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include mopping, dusting, trash removal and reporting maintenance needs, with opportunities to grow in a mission-driven, nonprofit healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and handle chemicals safely.
• Basic math for inventory, supplies, and time tracking.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop tile floors following center procedures.
• Vacuum carpeted rooms and dust surfaces in patient areas.
• Empty trash, clean bathrooms, and maintain clean windows and fixtures.
• Follow infection control standards and report equipment issues.
