Job summary

ACE Recycling and Disposal in Murray, UT, is seeking a dependable Container Maintenance worker. You will clean and repair garbage containers, assist with related maintenance tasks, and contribute to a reliable team environment.

Shifts run Monday through Friday with some Saturdays; 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with overtime, and a Friday early shift from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour, with opportunities in a growing waste services company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Welding and painting experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be able to read and comprehend English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Spray out and clean garbage containers.
• Repair damaged or broken containers.
• Assist with other container maintenance tasks as needed.
• Follow schedule: Mon–Fri, some Saturdays; 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with overtime; Friday 11:00 AM–8:00 PM.

Job Responsibilities

• Spray out and clean garbage containers
• Repair damaged or broken garbage containers
• Assist with other container maintenance tasks as needed
• Schedule
  • Monday - Friday some Saturdays
  • 8:00AM - 5:00PM with overtime
  • Friday early shift 11:00am to 8:00pm

Starting pay $22.00 per hour.

Required Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old and
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Welding and painting experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be able to read and comprehend English well enough to understand instructions, write new work orders from a supervisor, communicate effectively to others
• One year experience in maintenance is a plus
• Strong work ethic and dependability
• Comfortable working in an environment with garbage odors
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on work
