Job summary

Komline-Sanderson is seeking a CNC Operator/Machinist Programmer I to translate engineering designs into efficient CNC programs for high‑performance equipment. You will develop and optimize CAM programs, work with CAD/CAM tools (Mastercam preferred), document changes, and partner with engineering and production to uphold quality and productivity.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Diploma or certification in CNC programming/machining or related field is required.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam preferred) is required.
In-depth understanding of metal properties and machinery is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, and specifications to set up CNC machines according to the required production specifications.
Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to improve production efficiency and product quality.
Perform tests and adjust as needed to ensure the programs produce parts meeting specifications and quality standards.
Maintain clear and accurate records of CNC operations and program modifications.
Communicate effectively with the production team and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
Collaborate with design and production staff to solve machine or assembly issues.
