Job summary

WALCO Tool & Engineering is seeking a mid-level CNC Programmer to translate engineering intent into accurate, repeatable CNC programs that support on-time, high-quality production. This role is essential to standardizing programming methods, reducing cycle time where possible, and ensuring parts meet print requirements.

You will review blueprints and routing sheets, build and maintain documentation, and collaborate with machinists and engineers to confirm program accuracy, efficiency, and part

Qualifications

3+ years of CNC programming experience.
Proficiency with CAM software required.
Working knowledge of CAD and 3D modeling applications.
Advanced blueprint reading; in-depth GD&T knowledge.
Strong understanding of engineering documentation; Veri-cut experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review blueprints and routing sheets to create efficient, standardized CNC programs.
Build and maintain clear, well-organized programming documentation.
Partner with machinists and engineers to confirm program accuracy, efficiency, and part performance.
