NN, Inc - USA seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support CNC machining equipment and related systems in an automotive manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

The candidate will read schematics, OEM manuals, and hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical diagrams; perform alignment and calibration; troubleshoot PLCs; and work with Controls Technicians on programming changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance in automotive manufacturing preferred.
• Experience maintaining CNC centers and automation equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and OEM manuals.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc).

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC centers and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Diagnose failures and determine root causes to minimize downtime.
• Repair/replace spindles, bearings, pumps, valves, sensors, and tooling.
• Support machine alignment, calibrations, and accuracy verification.
• Read electrical/mechanical diagrams and OEM manuals.
• Utilize CMMS to document maintenance and parts usage.
• Participate in TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Controls Technicians for PLC changes when needed.
• Follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
