Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of shop experience as a machinist.
• Technical training in shop math and blueprint reading is required.
• Experience with GD&T is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate CNC lathes and/or mills and other machine tools as specified by drawings and tolerances.
• Edit CNC programs to manufacture parts per blueprints/drawings.
• Perform machine set ups to obtain close tolerances, fittings and alignments.
• Conduct first piece inspections and use a range of measuring devices.
• Keep accurate records of time, parts, inspections, and requisitions for each job.
• Prepare jigs, fixtures, or specialized non-production devices as needed.
• Procure materials, tools, and supplies as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and comply with quality procedures.
