Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of experience preferred; long-term care/assisted living experience helpful.
• Completion of NAI program and NA I registration required.
• Medication Safety - AME required.
• State-approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care using clinical experience to support daily activities and comfort.
• Collaborate with nurses and providers to support care plans in fast-paced settings.
• Assist with mobility, ambulation, positioning, and fall-prevention to promote safe recovery.
• Document vitals and patient status accurately to support clinical decisions.
• Create a calm, supportive environment for patients and families, setting expectations and offering reassurance.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.
• For Assisted Living units: assist residents with daily living and report status changes to the Charge Nurse.
