Job summary

Higher Call Nursing Center in Quapaw, Oklahoma, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our day shift team. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care, assisting with daily living activities, and reporting changes to the nursing staff.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans, maintain accurate records, and help create a safe, clean, and supportive living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma CNA certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment, as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and reports
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents, including maintaining a clean and organized living space
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and best practices
