Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Louisiana nurse aide certification.
• Ability to organize, plan and supervise resident care.
• Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to provide emergency care as needed.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate with nursing and other departments.
• Adhere to facility policies and aseptic/sterile techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute needs of assigned resident group with daily living and dining needs.
• Make rounds noting significant issues for intervention.
• Provide intervention to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Check residents daily for skin condition and report findings.
• Assist licensed staff to position residents as needed.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with weights.
• Record information on the electronic health record.
• Provide laundry, housekeeping, and dining assistance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by licensed staff or directors.
