Job summary

Pikeville-Nursing-and-Rehab in Pikeville, KY is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Nursing team on the day shift. You will provide compassionate, resident-centered care to support safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility, vital signs, and accurate documentation in the electronic health record. This role requires a Kentucky CNA certification and the physical capacity to lift and transfer residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Current CNA certification in Kentucky required.
• Ability to lift and move residents physically.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Document care and changes in residents’ conditions in the electronic health records.
• Report changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and provide companionship.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure cohesive care.
