Job summary

Carmel Hills Wellness & Rehabilitation in Independence, MO is seeking a dedicated CNA for the Day Shift to provide hands-on resident care in a skilled nursing environment. You will assist with ADLs, transfers, vital signs, and documentation while collaborating with RNs, LPNs, and therapists to ensure resident comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri CNA certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Prior CNA or healthcare experience is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on resident care throughout the day.
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Assist transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility with safety.
• Record vital signs accurately.
• Observe changes and report to nurse promptly.
• Respond to call lights and resident needs promptly.
• Provide comfort and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutrition as directed.
• Maintain documentation of care.
• Keep rooms and common areas clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and therapy staff.
