Job summary

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our day shift team (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). You will provide attentive basic nursing care to residents under the supervision of licensed nurses.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication with residents and nursing staff
• Basic reading and writing skills required
• CPR/BLS certification required and up to date
• Ability to follow instructions and care plans accurately

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive thorough nursing reports upon reporting for duty
• Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment
• Explain procedures to residents before administering care, ensuring their comfort and understanding
• Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing, and linens as needed
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean and tidy environment; make occupied and unoccupied beds
