The CNA will provide routine nursing care under supervision, assist residents with daily activities, and support the care team to ensure high-quality resident care in a welcoming facility.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a CNA.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be patient, tactful, cheerful and enthusiastic with residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare residents for therapy, activities, doctor visits and religious services.
• Respond promptly to call lights.
• Attend in-service trainings and meetings as directed.
• Assist residents with proper hygiene and bathing.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Document pertinent information each shift.
• Present a professional image through dress and conduct.
• Adhere to company standards for handling concerns and protecting resident rights.
