Job summary

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District is seeking a Day Shift Cleaner to help maintain district facilities. The role includes routine cleaning, dusting, and floor care as needed to keep buildings safe and presentable.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED preferred and must meet Civil Service requirements while working effectively with co-workers and under supervision. This position is on-site within the district facilities.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing floors.
• Dust woodwork, furniture, and other equipment.
• Wash walls and windows.
• Clean bathrooms.
• Arrange chairs, tables, and other equipment for special use in buildings.
• Block and secure the work area.
• Other duties as assigned by building custodian and/or supervisor.
