Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Coppell, TX to perform order picking and material handling in a warehouse setting. The role involves operating cherry pickers and forklifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and following safety rules to ensure accurate shipping and receiving.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, and 14-week parental leave support. Benefits start after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 year warehousing or similar experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to push and or pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours.
• Ability to read and comprehend customers’ orders, bills of lading, etc.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge or ability to learn computer software systems.

Responsibilities

• Efficient Material Handling: supports the team’s quality and efficiency goals by loading, unloading, and palletizing safety products with care.
• Shipment Integrity: ensures the quality and care of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders to provide excellent service.
• Safety & Workspace Care: maintains a clean and organized work area to support a safe environment for everyone and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Equipment Operation: operates powered industrial trucks as needed to assist in daily warehouse flow.
• Collaborative Support: willingly supports the team with various tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
